Some information about the condo -- *Oceanfront -- you can be out the door and in the water in less than a minute *Accommodates up to 5 people *2,000 square feet of interior space, plus 700 sqft of patio (as compared to typical resorts/hotels where rooms average less than 400 square feet, and consist of a bed, a bathroom, and maybe a desk) *2 large bedrooms, high-end kitchen, dining area, living room, office area/TV room and 3 full baths, including a jacuzzi tub in the master suite *King size bed in master suite, a queen and a full bed in second bedroom, and a queen sized hide-a-bed. *Full size washer & dryer in the unit, so you can feel free to pack fewer clothes and not worry if you spill something during a meal. *Ground-floor convenience with easy access to pool, fitness room, beach, grills, restaurant and other common areas *Non-smoking (Landmark Resort and most of Mexico is no-smoking for all interior and most outdoor spaces) *24/7 support from the on-island property host, so no worries if you run into issues while you are away from home *Concierge service through the property host, in case you are looking for that perfect vacation experience, need help with reservations, etc. *You will not have to sit through any timeshare presentations!!!! *When booked through the resort's website, similar suites rent for $442/night!! *Please note, while this condo is in the Landmark Resort, it is not managed by Landmark Resort. I've contracted with Bookcozumel.com to take care of the property. This allows us to set more reasonable rental rates and be more aggressive with marketing. The host who meets you at the property will be able to help you with everything you need, but won't be on site 24hrs a day. This arrangement still allows guests to use all of the resort facilities..
Booking: If you decide that you would like to book with us, we'll need to coordinate to make that happen. The standard AirBnb rate is a lot higher than the friends and family rate, but AirBnb provides marketing and insurance for guests with whom I am not familiar. Best thing is to give me a call when you are close to booking and I can explain it better in person. This past year it seemed that things were booked about 2-3 months in advance, although there are some folks who book 6 months out when looking for a specific or popular time frame (for example, New Years 2023 was booked in early April, before any dates in June-November were booked).
Some information about Landmark Resort -- The Landmark Resort is one of Mexico’s premier properties. It was built in 2011 to meticulous standards (built to Miami building code -- America's toughest) and is located on Cozumel's west shore in the southern hotel zone, near where many of the best snorkeling and SCUBA diving areas in the world are located. The resort has only 63 suites, so it’s never crowded in the pool and common areas, and it's marketed to attract a more quiet and laid-back clientele (tranquil is the word they like to use). So if you are coming down for the partying and night life you might be a little disappointed Resort Amenities-- -Large Pool and Hot Tub -Fitness Room -Tennis Court -24hr Security/Staffing -Parking -BBQ Area -Beautiful Grounds -Wifi -The beach club adjacent to the resort, The Money Bar, has a great restaurant, lots of beach areas available to use while staying at the resort at no charge, offers room service to the condo, and provides live entertainment on the weekends. It is also the location of one of the best shore-accessible snorkeling sites in the world. -The pier at Money Bar makes boat pickups easy for Landmark guests, so if you're doing a SCUBA trip or fishing adventure, boats can pick you up and drop you off right in front of the resort. The resort is located south of the cruise ship docks, the town of San Miguel, and the airport, so it avoids all of that congestion, noise, and traffic. That said, it is just a 10 minute drive to get to town where you can take advantage of everything that's available there--all the restaurants, shopping, museums, and even a Sam's Club.
